AGF Private Equity finances the creation and development of young companies, and invests primarily in the first or second venture capital financing rounds. On a case-by-case basis, the team invests in either younger companies (seed capital) or more mature companies that are already profitable and are seeking funds to take advantage of new growth opportunities.

The venture capital team invests in two high-technology sectors, Information Technology (software, Internet, telecommunications, networks, hardware, components) and Health (biopharmacy, diagnostics, medical instruments) and Clean Tech.

The head offices of the companies we support with our funds are located in European Union, even if their commercial activities extend to other geographical areas.

Our primary criteria for investment decisions are the quality of the the management team, the potential of the target market, the capacity of the company to maintain its competitive advantage and the alignment of interests of all the players in the projects we fund.
